Saro at the INTERNORGA 2026: Focus on buffet and serving solutions for communal catering
INTERNORGA in Hamburg is one of the most important platforms for the catering, hotel and out-of-home sector. For us at Saro Gastro-Products, the trade fair was once again an ideal opportunity to present our solutions for professional kitchens and to talk to specialist retailers, kitchen planners and catering professionals.
After our trade fair kick-off at INTERGASTRA 2026 in Stuttgart, we have set the same focus at INTERNORGA. Buffet and serving solutions for communal catering as well as high-performance kitchen technology for professional use.
Communal catering: Why buffet and serving solutions are becoming increasingly important
A central focus of our trade fair presence this year was on buffet and serving technology for canteens, schools and canteen kitchens. The background to this is the All-Day Food Promotion Act, which will significantly increase the need for professional and efficient solutions for communal catering in the coming years.
Many facilities are faced with the challenge of serving significantly more meals in the future while at the same time ensuring efficient processes in food distribution.
This is exactly where our solutions for buffet and food serving in communal catering come in.
Practical solutions for canteens and food service
At our trade fair stand, we presented various products that have been specially developed for buffet, serving and canteen situations. These include, among others:
- Buffet islands for flexible serving concepts
- Bain-marie trolley with spit protection and extra-long spiral cable
- Heated banquet trolleys for safe food transportation
- Dispensing trolley for trays
- Tray trolleys as central collection points
These solutions are designed to handle large quantities of food efficiently, meet hygiene requirements and make everyday kitchen life in communal catering easier.
Energy-efficient refrigeration technology for restaurants and commercial kitchens
At INTERNORGA, we presented solutions for buffets and food serving as well as various appliances from our professional refrigeration technology range.
The refrigerators in our PRO series, which impress with their energy-efficient design, were of particular interest. In view of rising energy costs, the energy efficiency of refrigeration appliances is playing an increasingly important role for many catering businesses.
Modern refrigeration technology not only contributes to reliable food storage, but can also help to reduce operating costs in the long term.
FlashCook high-speed oven live at INTERNORGA
A particular highlight at our stand was the FlashCook high-speed oven, which was regularly demonstrated during the trade fair.
Our Export Sales Manager Mick Arentsen, a trained chef, demonstrated live on the stand how the FlashCook can be used in everyday kitchen life. The oven combines hot air, microwave and infrared technology, allowing food to be cooked particularly quickly and evenly.
It is primarily intended for bars, cafés, hotels and food trucks, i.e. for businesses where food needs to be prepared quickly and reliably, even when there are large numbers of guests. Its compact design also makes it particularly suitable for kitchens with limited space.
Exchange and personal discussions at INTERNORGA
In addition to the product presentations, the main focus at INTERNORGA was on personal interaction with the industry. Many visitors took the opportunity to find out about current developments in the hospitality industry or to discuss specific projects with us.
With over 1,800 items, we now cover a large part of the needs of professional kitchens – from refrigeration technology and kitchen appliances to solutions for buffets, serving and communal catering.
Our summary of INTERNORGA 2026
INTERNORGA 2026 was an all-round successful trade fair for us. In particular, the focus on buffet and serving solutions for communal catering met with great interest from trade visitors.
The combination of practical solutions, modern kitchen technology and live demonstrations with the FlashCook by our Export Sales Manager Mick Arentsen made our stand a lively meeting place for catering professionals.
We would like to thank all visitors for the many interesting discussions and are already looking forward to seeing you again at upcoming industry events.
