Safety and Warning Instructions

- Place the device exclusively on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the specifications on the rating plate.
- Children and unauthorized persons must not operate the device or be left unattended near it.
- During operation, the device’s surfaces, particularly the grill plates and housing, can become very hot – risk of burns.
- Never clean the device with a water jet or immerse it in liquids to avoid short circuits and electric shocks.
- Before cleaning, maintenance, or extended periods of non-use, switch off the device, disconnect it from the power supply, and allow it to cool completely.
- Ensure the drip tray for sauces is properly attached and emptied regularly to prevent overflow and damage.
- Do not operate the device near faucets or in other damp environments.
- Do not block or cover the ventilation openings to prevent overheating.
- During the first use, the device may emit odors due to protective coatings. Operate the device for 30 minutes without food before using it for cooking.
- Use the device exclusively for its intended purpose, such as grilling food. Any other use may cause damage and compromise safety.
- Repairs must only be carried out by qualified personnel using original spare parts.
- Dispose of packaging materials safely and keep them out of reach of children, as they pose a suffocation hazard.
- Do not operate the device with wet hands or use timers or remote controls to switch it on automatically.
- Ensure that the power cord is undamaged and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
- The device must not be used without its adjustable feet to maintain stability and proper ventilation.
- Maintain a minimum safety distance of 10 cm from flammable materials or walls.
- If water enters the device, disconnect it from the power supply immediately and ensure it is completely dry before using it again.
